County looses its accreditation, what happens to the colleges?

I want to transfer to this college, but the county that the college is in may loose their accreditation. Now it has not happened yet, but this is not the first time that they were up to lose their accreditation. I want to know, if a county looses its accreditation how does it affect the college in the county. Does the college automatically loose accreditation too?

1. are you talking about two separate colleges? each college or university is responsible for their own accreditation. if the campus you are thinking about going to is on the verge of losing their accreditation, i suggest you move around because you'll be wasting your time. you might have to take your courses again if the campus was closed down and you have to transfer to another school. g'luck!
